Dear Lucy,
I’ve been living in awe of your comics for awhile. I’m really excited they’re on their own fancy site now! You are supremely cool, and I look forward to seeing what else you create in the years to come.

Wow. Sounds a lot like me. I admire the way you write a really thoughtful message into a handy, easy to read, brightly coloured comic. This is beautiful.
I remember something completely nonsensical from when I was about four years old… My mom would seat me on the back of the bike, and I would tell her “I’m two years old, right?”
Still don’t know where that statement came from, or why I even asked it.
A weird memory I have is from kindergarten. I was on the play ground with one other kid while for some reason everyone else was in the classroom. The boy I was outside with was riding a tricycle around in a small circle and, without stopping, he says to me that he remembers when he was a girl. For some reason unknown to me to this day, and I am now 45, that struck me as both profound and deeply disturbing.

Just do you know? I think about stuff like this all the time. Thanks for making me realise I’m not the only one
