I’ve only just found your comic (after seeing links for it a billion and a half times) and read through it all in one setting.
I just wanted to stop for a moment and say how awesome I think your work is. It’s fun to read and really gets you thinking! A lot of the issues you tackle are the same sorts of issues I have worked through and am currently working through (like a lot of your readers I’m sure) but it does me a ton of good to not feel alone in it all.

So thanks for the comic, hope to see more in the future!

Oh my word, I used to do recordings like that all the time! That was wicked cute. XD Also, the comic is wicked cute too! I’m sure we’ve all had those moments of wondering if we’re alive or not–I used to wonder if I was in a book! Then I’d think, ‘mighty boring book.’

Do you ever just snap out of a daydream and realize “Oh yeah, right. This is me.. I was here, I was this person”? The panel where little Lucy just stares at her tiny hand as though she’s analizing how real this whole thing is, how real SHE is, just taps at my heart’s door. I can totally relate to that feeling. Of course this comic is much more profound than what I just described. As always, I’m blown away by your talent, thanks for drawing this. Greetings from Argentina.

Oh gosh I did that as a kid, all the time! It’s nice to know other people did too – actually Alison Bechdel’s new book Are You My Mother? shows her doing much the same thing. Little Cartesian geniuses, we all are. This is a wonderful comic!

That audio recording is absolutely priceless! Kid-you mimicking the intonations of radio… Love it.

I had a Sony walkman that I listened to tapes on. It had a clear casing so you could watch all the parts inside move – it was mesmerizing.
